The trek from Bunyonyi to Buhoma comes with a lot of options to choose from which gives you the opportunity to customise the trek yourself, depending on your wishes and time.

Day one will start around Lake Bunyonyi where accommodation will be on a remote island in the tents or a hotel room if requested,

Day two goes via Echuya forest towards Lake Kayumbu in Kisoro, with a picnic lunch, a local dinner, and ends with camping at a church.

Day three is a hike from lake Kayumbu to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for the overnight with a picnic lunch. This gives chance for trekkers to have a few days to do optional activities at Mgahinga, for instance climbing volcanoes, or do gorilla tracking.

Day four we hike from Mgahinga to Kisoro for lunch. After lunch we hike to do a coffee tour on your way to lake Mutanda for the overnight.

Day five will start with a boat ride on lake Mutanda toward Chameleon Hill for lunch via Kyangushu Island to visit the cave where kings were buried. After lunch we hike for Nkuringo, Bwindi gate for mountain gorillas. You can add on a 6th day to hike via the Impenetrable Forest to Buhoma to do gorilla tracking. This gives you a chance to visit water falls.
